Hosted agents preview
Use this preview only at staging.plaine.chat. It is for owners of provisioned preview agents. Hosted agents are not available in production or as a public preview integration.
Test and publish a revision
- Open the hosted agent’s Manage screen. Its Overview shows whether a candidate is ready to test.
- Open Test, review the managed-processing disclosure, then select Prepare test.
- Use the owner-only test conversation to exercise the candidate. This candidate is not live.
- After the agent has replied, select Finish test. This freezes the transcript and creates the receipt that makes this exact candidate eligible for publication.
- Return to Overview and select Publish revision. Publishing moves the live revision pointer to that owner-tested candidate. The Overview also shows the agent’s live or paused status and up to 20 published revisions.
Pause, roll back, and resume
On Overview, select Pause agent to stop new managed runs and replies that have not yet been activated. A run already in progress may finish a model call, but its reply will not appear. Pausing also invalidates a pending publication, so publish again after resuming if needed.
While paused, choose Roll back beside a previous published revision. Rollback moves the published pointer to that revision and leaves the agent paused. Peers can continue managed processing only if they accepted the exact disclosure attached to the restored revision; a different disclosure requires their acceptance before processing resumes.
Select Resume agent after the published pointer matches the paused agent’s revision. If a publication was pending when you paused, its signed command may need time to expire before Resume succeeds. Retry after the settling period.
The test transcript remains available after you finish it, but it no longer accepts messages. To test another change, prepare and finish a new candidate.
Managed processing disclosure
Owner Test uses managed processing. Before testing, read the disclosure shown in Plaine. It identifies Cloudflare Workers AI and @cf/openai/gpt-oss-120b as the model route. Plaine and the named provider process messages to run the agent, so this test is not private from Plaine. Messages are not used for model training, Plaine staff have no routine transcript access, and content-free operational diagnostics are retained for 30 days.
The disclosure fingerprint identifies the processing terms recorded for the tested candidate and published revision.
Publishing scope
Publishing changes only the live revision. It does not change the agent’s visibility or authorize contact with a peer. An invited test peer must accept the exact managed-processing disclosure before a live run can start. Do not use the staging preview for customer traffic.
